This letter came from a friend, who did a wonderful job in questioning and investigating the situation. I couldn't even think of the name of this dirty-trick method, until I saw an article about 'caging'.
This Friday I will interview the journalist of the article, (see below) who will dig into the Floridian situation more deeply, but I ask you to report if you received similar letters Notify all your friends who may be aware in the summer, as they may find themselves removed from the voter registration list when they return * Tune in and call in on Friday, and remember the show airing has changed to 12 Noon.......

Today the mail brought a 2 page letter from John McCain, stating I was a registered Republican and I needed to send them the affirmation that I was indeed registered and living there ,( and also asking for money ).Curiously the date on the letter was "monday morning".
The Dems here in Collier said many are reporting they got the same letter. I asked a local postman how many he had given out today and he said over 100.
Then I noticed on the front....do not forward.
So I called the post office and asked, "what happens when a letter is sent to me with a do not forward message on it, and I am up north for a few months?" He said it goes directly back to the shipper as "undeliverable." I had heard reports of them doing this in certain neighborhoods and even with Iraqi soldiers.
The RNC has sent out who knows how many tens of thousands of letters to registered democrat Floridians, KNOWING they are up north---will get them returned as undeliverable, and then?
Will they will go to the voter files and CLAIM THEY ARE INVALID VOTERS? I do not know, but-- Why else would they waste so much money sending huge mailings to registered democrats?
That is one way to win Florida.
